First Post Thoughts....

Hi everyone! This is my first first post, so I just wanted to check things out. Hopefully I can add some pictures soon. We're all doing well here in Manteo, although we're over the rain! Finn's been doing lots of talking! We're not always sure what he's saying, but it's still fun to listen to him talk away! He loves to get my phone, Shawn's phone, or anything else he can find and hold it up to his ear and say "hey." It's so funny watching him! I told Shawn that he sounds like a northerner because when he calls for me now, he shout "Maa!" Ha! The pregnancy is going well. On February 22nd, I have an appointment in Norfolk and will get to find out the sex of the baby. I'm getting anxious to find out! I'm ready to start redoing rooms. I think we're going to move Finn to the guest room and put up bunk beds.....so any guests that come now will have to share a room with Finn! I wish we had a bigger house!!! The new baby will use Finn's crib and stay in Finn's old room, while Finn will get to move to get the bigger room with the new beds! I'll definately have to find rails to go all the way around the bed (and keep him on the bottom)! It will be nice though, because then one of use could actually fit in his bed (while getting him to sleep at night) and get him to sleep in his room! That will be exciting! Right now, we usually lay Finn down with us and then transfer him to his room after he's fallen asleep. I know it was a bad habit we started, but it worked for us and isn't too bad.
